The Spolar Story

Spolar's Gold Premier Reloader is the result of many years of shotshell reloading experience. It is engineered, designed and manufactured to the highest standards of quality, and is the best performing reloader any where in the world!  

The Gold Premier was a design patented by the late Frank Simpson, a longtime reloader and trap shooter who is in the Oregon State Trap Shooting Hall of Fame. His many years of experience with shooting, shooters, reloading and reloading equipment is evident in the reloading mechanisms he patented. Because Simpson was unable to mass produce this reloader due to their costly design, he built them one at a time.     

Spolar Power Load, Inc. starting where Simpson left off, spent four years showing the original reloader to reloading enthusiasts and experts throughout the United States, soliciting suggestions and input. We designed and redesigned the original machine based on suggestions from experts and observations we made while using it. Not until we were absolutely positive that the Spolar Gold Premier incorporated every conceivable improvement and feature - and that it was better than any other reloader available - did we decide to manufacture it. 

The availability of master machinists, made possible by the slow-down of the aerospace industry in Southern California, and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines have enabled us to bring you a reloader of a caliber that was previously economically impossible to mass produce. The Spolar Gold Premier is an unrivaled shotshell reloading machine, designed for the most discriminating of reloading shooters.  

No expense has been spared in the manufacture of the Spolar Gold Premier. It incorporates the highest quality materials and components, machined from T6-6061 aircraft aluminum and steel to exacting aircraft-quality standards and tolerances (plus or minus .002 and, in some instances, .0005). The Gold Premier's movement is enhanced by sealed ball bearings and oil-impregnated bronze bushings. There are no castings, stampings, plastic bushings or plastic parts other than the wad fingers, starter crimp, shot and powder bottles, primer tray cover and some electrical components. We are confident that the Gold Premier is the best shotshell reloader on the market today, and we are prepared to stand behind it.
